Canterbury College is one of Queensland?s premier co-educational Kindergarten ? Year 12 independent day schools located on the south side of Brisbane in Waterford. Canterbury is renowned for its quality of academic, sporting, cultural, service and spiritual programs operating within an Anglican ethos. Canterbury College is extremely proud of the successful academic outcomes students achieve across all level in the Literacy and Numeracy tests for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. Our Senior students’ results are also impressive, with 27 per cent of 2013 graduates receiving an OP 1-5.

Canterbury College is well renowned for Music excellence with a specialist Arts Centre specifically designed and built to enhance the artistic development of all students.
Our internationally acclaimed multi-award-winning girls’ choir, Cantabile, have this year performed at the Sydney Opera House and won Gold at the Queensland Youth Music Awards. Fifty of our students were also involved in the southern hemisphere’s largest production of the musical CATS at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).
A Resource Rich Multi-million Dollar Campus
Our modern, technologically advanced state-of-the-art facilities, such as the Arts Centre, the fully equipped Sports Hall, the Technology Precinct and the new Trade Training Centre ensure that all students have access to enhanced learning areas on a daily basis.
Our new Adventure Education Playground is now completed and and has been opened for our Kindergarten children. The new playground provides ample space and opportunity for children in their play to solve problems, master gross motor skills, refine balance and coordination, learn to self-regulate and form friendships.
The Canterbury Trade Training Centre (TTC) is the newest addition to the Technology Precinct and includes state-of-the-art facilities in three key vocational areas.
A furnishing workshop and a construction courtyard are featured within the industrial training facility, while the hospitality training facility comprises a commercial kitchen, restaurant and bar training area.
The development of facilities has further enhanced our students? learning and facilitates our teachers? delivery of curriculum in a more conducive setting to ensure Canterbury College remains as one of Queensland?s leading best practice Kindergarten ? Year 12 co-educational schools.
