Vision & Values
The vision of Plenty Valley Christian College is to be a learning community with the creative and responsive mind and spirit of Christ.
Message from the Principal
Since opening in 1981, Plenty Valley has developed into a unique Christian College. Our students are nurtured and supported, but also challenged to achieve high standards in an educational experience that is framed by Christian beliefs and community.
It is a privilege to share with parents the responsibility for shaping the lives of young people. We take seriously the development of a Christian view of the world in education and of inspiring children to be and to do their best.
Set in an attractive, semi-rural environment, the College has some superb facilities. We also have a caring, friendly community and offer a variety of curricular and co-curricular experiences that contribute to the well-rounded development of young people.
In our prospectus is an outline of the College vision, its programs and arrangements. Documents like these help families make an informed decision about schooling. However, printed material can only allude to the real experience of attending here. You are especially welcome to visit Plenty Valley, meet with the dedicated staff and observe firsthand the things that make it a place well able to contribute to the educational landscape of the twenty-first century.
I warmly invite you to explore further the many advantages that become accessible to families through a commitment to an educational partnership with us.

Message from Head of Primary
Embraced, engaged, encouraged and empowered! That?s our aim for students at Plenty Valley Christian College.
The Primary School is a place where students can explore who they are as learners; where they will be challenged and can challenge themselves, knowing that they will be nurtured and encouraged along their learning journey. Plenty Valley Christian College confidently bases all that we do on the firm foundation of the Christian faith, believing that God has lovingly created each child. Understanding that each child is unique and wonderfully made is crucial to structuring learning opportunities for all our students.
We embrace the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) as an internationally recognised education curriculum, that provides scope and opportunity for the outworking of the Christian faith. The PYP calls for students to ?become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them? (www.IBO.org), and that is exactly who we want our students to be!
Our staff; expertly trained and constantly updating their knowledge, truly care that each child in our school is encouraged, nurtured and challenged. They are a team committed to providing high quality education that is rooted in their own Christian faith.
I warmly invite you to come along to Plenty Valley Christian College and begin your journey together with us.

Message from Head of Secondary
At Plenty Valley we aim to empower young Christians to enter every positive walk of life. I believe we are here for the purpose of leading our students on a journey toward a mature Christian adulthood. The best way we can do this is to develop and hone the talents with which each student has been blessed.
A successful secondary education requires a shared understanding and commitment from students, parents and teachers. With our support, students have the best opportunity to be active participants in their own education. Along with our staff, I strongly encourage responsibility and awareness in each of our students.
Students at the College benefit from a high-level academic education guided by a Christian worldview. This provides them with a variety of options after graduation and provides a strong foundation for the rest of their lives.
I warmly welcome visitors to our College and would be delighted to share more information about our programs with you.
Head of Secondary
Plenty Valley Christian College places a high value on community. We have gone to great lengths to cultivate a sense of connectedness and nurture between families, staff and students at the college.
