PLC Armidale is situated in a tranquil setting of parklands and gardens and offers a number of quality indoor and outdoor facilities including a state of the art hospitality centre, gymnasium and specific Year 12 study centre.
Achieving beyond the classroom
PLC Armidale students also excel beyond the classroom in many co and extra curricular activities, including various sports, music groups, cattle team, speech & drama and equestrian pursuits. The fastest growing activity at PLC Armidale currently is the hugely popular and internationally recognised, Duke of Edinburgh program.
PLC Armidale is often the highest ranked school in regional NSW. In the 2015 HSC results over 80% of students achieved at least one Band 5 or 6. Approximately 95% of PLC Armidale graduates undertake further tertiary studies, particularly in the areas of professional endeavour such as the Sciences, Arts, Law and Music. PLC Armidale offers a boutique boarding and educational experience. Our Boarders have an academic advantage where prep time is supervised by academic staff. An Extended Day program is also offered.
